This one was sweet, tough but fun. again I just tried to keep moving. The hanging cleans felt good, a little slow, but my technique was there. I was definitely shrugging my ass off! :) The rope climb was a breeze, everything was good, except the dips ahaha we all knew that was coming. I get so pissed off at those things! It's  frustrating, it feels like I'm not getting anywhere with them. Usually if I want to do something, I can work at it for.. a few days, maybe weeks and I'll get it. I'm not even close to getting those bitches, and I don't know how long I've been working at them. Ahhh.   

But anyways, I'm off to MMA! As of yesterday, I am an advanced brown belt :) hehe I thought I'd end on a happy note. Good Job tonight everyone. Have a good evening (for some reason whenever I say evening it reminds me of vampires.. I know, it's weird)

This one felt pretty good.  I had a pretty good pace going, I had to break up my SDHP's during the final rounds. They were feeling very heavy. It was more of a mental wod, I had to keep myself focused and keep from taking chalk breaks. Damn chalk :P

It's always fun workin with my girl Mia. All the lifts felt good, and my technique felt pretty proper.  Dips sucked, as always :P They are slowly improving though.. maybe one day I'll actually be good at them :) lol 

We had Belt testing tonight at MMA and it was lots of fun. It was fun watching dad and Riley grapple. Mom and I also had a good match. She is a lot stronger now than she was the last time I grappled her.

Rest Day

Okay, since it's rest day, I thought I'd ask you all a question. I am 'on the zone' right now, but I'm finding it REALLY hard to eat my protein. I am not a huge fan of meat and eggs and I am starting to get tired of protein shakes and cheese. Is there anything you guys do or know of  to help me out?

Felt really good. I took Sterling's advice and went into it with more confidence. The bench press was hard but I got the technique down, which helped lots. Back squats were alright... We should have gone heavier (we being mom and I). My legs felt weak so I put the weight down to 95 and went fast(er) through it.  My row times are getting faster, at least on the 125m sprints :) My average time per 500m was just under 1:50 which is a big improvement as a lot of the time before, I would see it creep up to and sometimes past 2:00. 

My arms are so tired now! I was blowdrying my hair and I actually had to take a break- My arms would give out and I'd hit my head with the stupid thing.

This one was tough (no shit). I like the 'one rounders' though. The Wall Balls I thought were the hardestt and then the KTE's (but that could of been because I did the KTE's last). The easiest for me were Double Unders and Pullups. The double unders hurt my toes though.. the price to pay for working out in bare feet. The only thing I can say is thank god there was no 50 rope climbs or especially 50 Dips.

Felt really good, except the ring dips of corse. The OHS's were a bit sloppy, but I managed to get through them at an ok pace. The row also felt pretty good, I kept the pace around 1:50 throughout the wod.

The box step ups were the hardest, I thought. My legs were tired from the Row and OHS's. My Forearms were so pumped after this one. They still feel .. weird haha you know what I mean.

Sick Day

Today was bad. I ate like shit, felt like shit.. all in all it was just a shitty day. I had an F-ing 4 hour nap.. and I NEVER sleep during the day! 4 hours.. that's longgg

I just had a kiwi banana bubble tea. That's right kiwi AND banana. It's good, I have to order it special. Makes me feel pretty Bad Ass.. See that's how much of a wimp I'd be if I didn't have CrossFit. I can't wait until I feel better so I can train. I am tempted just to come in and train anyways, but it would suck if I got all you guys sick too.. especially after Luc waited so long when he was sick to keep us all healthy. 

Please post your weights, somewhere!! Especially for the OHS's and Power Cleans.. I am very curious. I feel pretty out of the loop lately as NOBODY is posting on the main site. What's with that? I am going to post as soon as coach puts some pictures up as I have nothing to talk about besides the pictures because I can't go to class!!! AHH goin a bit crazy. Have a good night y'all.

This one way tough. A total mental game. I liked it because you always had motivation. I kept thinking If i just finish this set, I'll never have to do this exercise again. 75# was a good weight, I thought. The push press SUCKED and the SDHP's felt heavy. The burpees were also pretty brutal, I think those took me the longest. The pullups were good, I did all 20 in a row and am sure I could do more.. Max pullups sometimes soon.

Michelle was so fun to work out with today. She gave 'er hard. At the end, I wanted to rest on the backsquats but I could see her pumping them out  out of the corner of my eye and knew I had to keep goin. I was wishing Mia would of came to the late class as I know us girls push each other hard. Same with my mum, she's getting F*ing ripped. Jill was also fun to watch. She was getting pissed at me cuz I kept yelling at her and stealing her towel that she was using to wipe her face during situps! hehe don't you love it when your sweat blurs your vision Jill :) you can thank me for that.

Last thing, who the hell comes up with these workouts? Like honestly, how can someone come up with a workout that lasts .. around 10 minutes? but makes you feel like your gunna die! I guess a big part of it is how hard you push yourself.. but still, props to DC. He comes up with some crazy shit.

The first wod wore me out the most. The rower always kicks my ass. The pushups and dips were giving me a hard time also. On the second workout I managed to get 5 rounds plus a set of dips. Those ring dips always piss me off because a lot of the time it's the only reason I can't RX the workout (like today)

That was an ass kicker, I encourage all the globo-goers to try this one out. It's quite deceiving.

Fun stuff. The first part of the wod pumped my  legs, and the second part pumped up my arms. My body is feeling yesterdays workout.. especially the arms. The pushups were gay. 

After class me and my bro went to watch the military suffer through one of coach's wod's. Everyone did great, it was cool to see how coach's creative/evil mind can make up such a harsh wod with such little equipment.

Today's was a tough one, but I still think yesterdays was harder. The row and the dips were the hardest for me. I managed to do all the dips (not just working negatives) on the dipping station. They weren't pretty, and I'm sure many of them weren't full range of motion, but I'm still happy. I'm pretty sure that's the most dips I've ever done during one workout. Needless to say, all of them were singles, which affected my time a LOT. I think I ended at around 27:20? I didn't look at the clock right after, so it's more of a guess. I'm putting it down as    27:20-ish

Wow, those rows killed me. I swear I was seein dots. All I remember was my first row was about 1:53 .. second was more around 2:00 and the third was BAD.. to say the leaste :P over 2:00 for sure. The OHS's and Box Step Ups combined with the rows were killers

20 walking lunges 25# db's (which felt like 45# db's)

OK Ring dips and pushups.... this is like the workout from hell. I wanted to quit after round one. OK enough Negativity.. Positive things: 

on my first set of pushups i got them finished only breaking 3 times and my second set I broke 4 or 5 (probably more like 6) times :) last positive thing, I got through it without passing out or visiting Mr. Pukie :) It was a chore getting up off the ground after the second part of the wod, I swear I was down there for about 10 minutes :P Man I love CrossFit!

This was a sweet way to start the week. A nice jolt to the body.

MMA was really fun tonight also. Lots of technique work, sweet board breaks and some Jiu-jitsu (my fav) I managed to beat up my brother and mom a little bit grappeling :) thats always fun!

I don't even know what to say about this one.. My technique started faltering during the set of four at  120. I managed to get one at 130 for that set, but dropped it a couple times so I went back down. My mind got the best of me .. I was nervous, the weight felt heavy and it was just hard to focus. I needed to get my head into it. I worked out with Jesse today, which was fun but I did miss my girls! Good to see Sterling and Chris th time since hawaii!

Holy Shit that was painful. The row sucked the wind right outa me, and the L pullups were not going smoothly. The SDHP's were hard, but manageable and, as you can guess, I hated the Body Rows :P

Coach says the vacation was a good break for the mind and body but damn, it sure doesn't feel like it now. I mean, you never feel good during a wod, but I feel like I'm just sucking all the time!  I'm hoping tomorrow will be better.. I'm sure it will. I have to keep the mind strong and keep pushing no matter what the body says. It's like in cartoons when there's a devil over one shoulder and the angel over the other shoulder and they argue back and forth. I'd say my bodys the angel and my minds the devil telling the body to get the hell movin!!

Felt pretty good except pushups. My arms feel so much more weak than two weeks ago. Have to work my upper body. I can't imagine doing 100 pushups in a row (for angie), even 100 pullups would be brutally tough. OK time for bed. So happy I have a spare tomorrow morning so I can sleeeep in :)  Good Night all !
